OUTCOMES
Momentum2 developed a targeted media relations program that was implemented in the lead up to the event. Our strategy was to connect with media that would produce the most impact in terms of media coverage and reach.
Targeted media lists were created, focussing on news, senior and foreign language programs. Momentum2 crafted multiple pieces of content, tailored to national media as well as state and regional audiences. The agency also identified potential spokespeople which could take part in media interviews in each region representing the programs and telling personal stories to encourage participation.
Media highlights from the campaigns included interviews on various ABC radio channels, such as ABC Radio 702 Sydney, and ABC Brisbane Radio and ABC Tasmania radio, as well as media coverage was secured in metro and regional outlets across the country - including the Canberra Sunday Times, The Senior and commercial radio.
